Crash in Twin Falls County Sends Three People to the Hospital

On February 17, 2021, at approximately 4:25 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of 3500 E and Addison Ave., in Twin Falls County.


Alexandria R. Fransden, 22, of Kimberly, ID, was driving northbound on 3500 E, in a 1997 Ford Explorer. William R. Rice, 60, of Murtaugh, ID, was driving westbound on Addison Ave., in a 2017 Ford Escape. Frandsen stopped at a stop sign, then proceeded into the intersection, failing to yield the right of way to Rice. The vehicles collided in the intersection.

Verla K. Rice, 74, of Murtaugh, ID, was a passenger in Rice's vehicle. Frandsen, William Rice, and Verla Rice were transported by ground ambulance to St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center, in Twin Falls.

The crash remains under investigation.
