Update: Investigation continues after two found deceased in Bellevue coffee shop

Oct. 26, 2020 - Detectives with the Idaho State Police, in cooperation with the Blaine County Coroner can confirm the identities of the two people found deceased in a Bellevue coffee shop last Thursday evening.

Deceased are:

Ashley Midby, 34, Bellevue

Jared Murphy, 28, Bellevue

At the time of his death, Murphy was an employee of the City of Hailey Police Department.

It appears both individuals died as a result of gunshot wounds. The incident is currently being investigated as a possible murder-suicide. Investigators say it appears both individuals were known to each other.

The incident occurred Thursday, October 22 on the 100 block of N. Main Street in Bellevue. Idaho State Police were called to the scene shortly after 8:00 p.m.

As the investigation remains ongoing, no further information is available at this time
