***Final Update***

On Friday, March 6, 2020, at 6:43 a.m., Idaho State Police investigated a six-vehicle injury crash on eastbound Interstate 84 at milepost 47, near the Five Mile overpass in Boise.

Angela M. Vaughan, 42, of Meridian, was driving eastbound in lane 2 in a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe. The left tire of Tahoe blew. Vaughan came to a complete stop in the number 2 lane.

A 2006 Ford F150 pickup, driven by Billy R. Korsen, 31, of Kuna, came to a stop behind the Tahoe.

A 2005 GMC Envoy, driven by Robert J. Von Merta, 31, of Gaston, Oregon, struck the Ford F150 pickup.

Quintin Q. D. Sebree, 23, of Republic, Washington, was driving a 2003 Great Dane semi with box trailer, was not able to stop and struck a 2010 GMC Acadia driven by Alexandr Ovcharenko, 34, of Meridian. The Acadia was then pushed into a 2017 Ram Pickup, driven by Brandt J. Nevin, 31, of Kuna. Nevin was able to pull over the right shoulder.

All occupants were wearing seatbelts. Ovchrenko was transported by ground ambulance the St. Luke's in Meridian.

The left lane was blocked for approximately an hour and ten minutes. This crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
