**Final Update**

On Wednesday, October 16, 2019, at 7:48 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a single vehicle crash northbound on I15 at mile marker 26.5, north of Malad.

Don P. Paver Jr., 61, of Kaysville, UT, was driving northbound on I15 in a 2004 Nissan Titan pulling a 28 foot Wildwood travel trailer. Paver was on the downhill side of the Malad Summit when the travel trailer began to fishtail, jackknifed, and overturned.

Paver and his three passengers were not transported. All occupants were wearing seatbelts

Both northbound lanes were blocked for approximately an hour before the left lane was re-opened. The right lane remained blocked for an additional two hours. Both lanes have been re-opened.
