On Friday, May 31, 2019, at 10:21 a.m., Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle injury crash on U.S. 26, at milepost 152, near Gooding.

Allan Dover, 43, of Twin Falls, was driving a 2012 Mack Truck west on U.S. 26. Dover had slowed down preparing to take a left onto 2100 E. Behind him was a dark colored SUV. Ronny Livia, 38 of Shoshone, driving a 2007 GMC Pickup, was behind the SUV. Livia tried to pass both the SUV and the semi. The semi struck the rear corner passenger side of the pickup and the pickup rolled onto the shoulder.

Livia and two juvenile passengers were transported by private vehicle to North Canyon Medical Center in Gooding. All occupants in both vehicles were wearing seatbelts. No airbags were deployed. Both directions of U.S. 26 were blocked for approximately 1.5 hours.

This crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police and assisted by the Gooding County Sheriff's Office and the Gooding County Fire Department.
