On Sunday, January 20, 2019, at approximately 12:18 a.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a single-vehicle rollover crash with injuries on eastbound Interstate 84 just east of milepost 29, the Franklin exit, in Caldwell.

Sean S. Britton, 32, of Boise, was driving a 1998 Chevrolet Blazer east bound near exit 29 when he lost control. The vehicle went into the median, back onto the road, crossed to the right shoulder and rolled. Britton's passenger, Vanessa Aiken, 34, of Boise, was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. Both occupants were taken by ground ambulance to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.

The right lane was blocked for approximately two hours. This crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
