On Saturday, December 15, 2018, at 5:02 a.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a single-vehicle fatality crash at the intersection of Joe Lane and Robinson Road, near Nampa, ID.

Adrianna Valdez, 21, of Caldwell, ID, was driving a 2007 Mazda pickup northbound on Robinson Road. Valdez lost control of the vehicle, went off the left shoulder of the roadway, and struck a telephone pole. Valdez was ejected from the vehicle and succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the crash. Next of kin has been notified.

Valdez was not wearing a seatbelt. Robinson Road was blocked between Victory Road and Airport Road for approximately three and a half hours. The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
