On Saturday, November 17, 2018 at approximately 8:06 a.m., Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle, injury crash eastbound US30 at milepost 414, seven miles east of Soda Springs.

Robert Dexter, 37, of Soda Springs, was eastbound on US30 in the right lane. He was driving a 1987 Jeep Wrangler. Dusty Woodbury, 38, of Moore, was behind the Jeep in the left lane. He was driving a 2010 Freightliner semi pulling a single tank trailer. The Jeep turned in front of the Freightliner, which impacted the Jeep on the driver's side. The Jeep came to rest in the roadway and the Freightliner came to rest on the left shoulder.

Woodbury was wearing a seatbelt; Dexter was not. Dexter was transported to Caribou Memorial Hospital in Soda Springs by ground ambulance.

The lanes of travel were blocked for approximately three-and-a-half hours while crews worked to clear the scene. The Caribou County Fire Department provided traffic control.

The crash is under investigation by Idaho State Police.

Law enforcement is currently on scene of a crash eastbound US30 at milepost 414, seven miles east of Soda Springs. Both eastbound lanes are blocked and the westbound lane is partially blocked. More information will be released as it becomes available.
