On Monday, September 24th at 8:30 AM, the Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle injury crash at the intersection of Emmett Road and Galloway Road in Canyon County, just northwest of Middleton.

Jonathan Tabert, 40 of Caldwell was eastbound on Galloway Road in a 2000 Dodge 2500 pickup pulling a dump trailer with a skid steer in the trailer. Charles Barnes, 52 of Emmett was southbound on Emmett Road. Tabert did not stop at the stop sign and Barnes collided with the rear of Taberts trailer.

Barnes was taken by air ambulance to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center. The roadway was blocked for approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes while crews worked to clear the scene.
