On Thursday, August 16, 2018, at approximately 7:32 a.m., Idaho State Police investigated a three-vehicle crash, on U.S. Highway 93 at milepost 53, north of I-84, in Jerome County.

A juvenile was driving a 2005 GMC Yukon. Michael D. Davidson, 62, of Buhl, was driving a 2012 GMC Sierra. Stephen R. Baxter, 52, of Jerome, was driving 2007 Toyota Tundra.

The juvenile was driving northbound on U.S. Highway 93. Davidson and Stephen were stopped or stopping for the traffic light at U.S. Highway 93 and 500 S. The juvenile's vehicle struck the rear of the GMC Sierra, which then struck the rear of the Toyota Tundra.

Davidson's passenger, Mary Davidson was transported by ground ambulance to St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center in Twin Falls. All occupants were wearing seatbelts.

The right southbound lane and the left northbound lane were blocked for approximately one hour.

The Idaho State Police is investigating a crash on U.S. Highway 93 at milepost 53.5, north of Twin Falls. The right lane of southbound travel and left lane of northbound travel is blocked. More information will be released as it becomes available.
