Who: nearly 2 dozen emergency response agencies from around Idaho and the Pacific Northwest

What: Field communicators, communications unit leaders, incident commanders, law enforcement supervisors and other public safety professionals will gather to gain familiarity with each other's resources during this event. Reporters will be able to experience what the first responder community has to offer our citizens as first responders exhibit state-of-the-art communications units. There will be many communications vans and trucks from state, federal and local agencies on hand. The two-day event will include demonstrations of capabilities of these mobile units and on day 2, a communications exercise will take place.

When: May 22-23

Where: Idaho State Police Driving Track, 700 S. Stratford Drive, Meridian

Media reps are invited to come to the event on Tuesday, May 22 at 11:00 a.m. ISP Captain Kevin Haight will be available at the event to provide you with more information and interviews.
