DATE: 3/12/2018 TIME: 11:15 AM LOCATION: Eastbound Interstate 90 between milepost 0 and 70, Kootenai and Shoshone Counties

On March 12th, 2018, initiating at 11:25 AM, Idaho State Police received a call of an adult female and two juveniles who were kidnapped. Troopers were able to locate the vehicle near milepost 40 near Cataldo, Idaho, and attempted to stop the vehicle. The vehicle failed to yield. Spike strips were utilized by Shoshone County deputies in two separate locations in attempt to stop the vehicle. Three tires were deflated, however the vehicle continued to travel eastbound on three rims. The vehicle drove into the opposing travel lane for several miles. The vehicle was brought to a stop near milepost 70 in the Mullan area after driving off the road into a snow bank. The suspect, Rodney A Bradley, 28 year old male of Spokane Valley, WA, was arrested without further incident for kidnapping and eluding peace officers. No injuries were sustained.
