On Thursday, March 15, 2018 at approximately 10:41 a.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Galloway Rd and Emmett Rd near Middleton, ID.

Seth Peterson, 41, of Caldwell, was driving westbound on Galloway Rd in a 2001 Ford pickup pulling a utility trailer. Von Humphreys, 57, of Middleton, was driving northbound on Emmett Rd in a 1990 Kenworth semi pulling a single trailer. Peterson failed to yield at the stop sign and collided with Humphrey's trailer.

Peterson was not wearing his seatbelt and was transported by air ambulance to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.

Both lanes were blocked for approximately eight hours while crews worked to clear the scene.
