On Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at approximately 7:40 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle, injury crash on US Highway 93 near milepost 17.5, in Rogerson.

David Jimenez-Saucedo, 36, of San Jacinto, California, was driving southbound on US 93 in a 2009 Volvo semi pulling a load of alfalfa. Timothy Durrant, 55, of Twin Falls, was driving a 1988 Ford Bronco. Durrant was exiting the parking lot of the Sinclair fuel station in Rogerson and failed to yield to Jimenez-Saucedo. The semi collided with the driver's side of Durrant's Bronco. Both vehicles came to rest on the highway, blocking traffic.

Durrant, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was transported by air ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello. Jimenez-Saucedo was wearing a seatbelt.

The highway was blocked for four hours while crews worked to clear the scene.

All lanes of travel are currently blocked on US 93 at the scene of a crash near milepost 17.5. This is near Rogerson, approximately 17.5 miles north of the Idaho / Nevada border.
