On Thursday, December 14, 2017 at about 2:42 p.m., Brittany Lonje Jones, 31, of Vallejo, California was stopped by the Idaho State Police on Interstate 15 near Idaho Falls for a traffic violation. Jones showed signs of drug impairment and was administered field sobriety tests. During the traffic stop, an Idaho State Police drug-K9 alerted to the odor of narcotics. Approximately 1.2 pounds of Methamphetamine valued between $8,000 to $10,000 was located inside the vehicle. Jones was subsequently arrested for Trafficking Methamphetamine and for suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs. She was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
