***Final Update***

On Monday, December 18, 2017, at 7:51 am, Idaho State Police investigated a crash northbound on I15 at mile marker 68, south of Clark Street.

Taras Andrusyshyn, 27, of Chicago, IL, was driving semi-truck and trailer hauling two transformers. Andrusyshyn was stopped in right lane of travel as one of the transformers had come off the trailer, and both transformers were leaking a large amount of non-hazardous oil, causing blockage in the right lane.

The Idaho Transportation Department, along with a wrecker company, responded to the scene for clean-up.

The right lane northbound on I15 and the South 5th on ramp were blocked for approximately three and a half hours. The lanes have been re-opened.
