On September 17, 2017, about 3:33 PM, Brandon Arneson (21 year old of Genesee, ID), was driving south on US Highway 95 in Latah County in a white 1997 Geo Prism when he attempted to turn left across the northbound lanes of US 95 onto eastbound Genesee-Juliaetta Road. He failed to yield right-of-way to northbound traffic, and his vehicle was struck by a red 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier driven by Regan Campbell (19 year old of Moscow, ID). The Prism came to rest blocking the right northbound lane of US 95, and the Cavalier came to rest off the northbound shoulder down an embankment. Both drivers were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash. Arneson refused transport, and Campbell was transported to Gritman Medical Center. The right northbound lane was blocked for approximately one and a half hours for crash investigation and vehicle recovery.
