On Friday, September 15, 2017, at approximately 5:41 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a four vehicle injury crash on eastbound Interstate 84 at milepost 29, near Franklin Road in Caldwell.

Timothy Fisher, 62, of Kuna, was driving eastbound on I84 in a 2007 Toyota Yaris. Fisher swerved onto the left shoulder to avoid slowing traffic in the area. Fisher was rear ended by a 2015 Subaru Outback, driven by Desiree Dowling, 31, of Payette. Dowling also collided with the side of a 2004 Ford Escape, driven by Jered Stockett, 45, of Parma. Fisher collided with the median barrier and struck the side of a 2015 Ford Escape, driven by Charlyn Reece, 46, of Nampa.

All occupants were wearing a seat belt.

Reece was transported by ground ambulance to St. Luke?s Medical Center in Nampa.

The eastbound lanes of travel were blocked for approximately one and a half hours.
