Fatality Crash involving stolen motorcycle

At 3:35 pm today, the Idaho State Police attempted a traffic stop on a stolen motorcycle that was eastbound on I90 at milepost 7. The rider pulled into the eastbound Huetter Rest Area where the trooper attempted contact with the rider. The rider then attempted to flee and re-enter I90 eastbound when he crashed. The rider was declared deceased at the scene. The Critical Incident Task Force, headed by the Kootenai County Sheriff's Department was called to investigate.
