On August 2nd, 2017 at approximately 12:10pm the Idaho State Police Investigated a one vehicle crash on SH57 at approximately mile post 26. A silver 2005 Chevrolet classic driven by a juvenile male, was southbound on SH57 when he failed to negotiate a left hand curve. He drove off the road colliding with an embankment. The vehicle came back on the roadway and the driver was ejected. No seatbelts were worn. The crashed blocked SH57 for approximately one hour. The juvenile was transport to Newport Medical Center. Assisting agencies were Bonner County and Priest River Police Department.
