On July 27, 2017 at 11:35 am the Idaho State Police, assisted by Latah County and Moscow Ambulance, investigated a two vehicle crash involving a motorcycle. Tyrell L. Tompkins, 24 years old of Spokane Valley, WA was traveling north on US95 at milepost 356 in a white 2004 Dodge Ram Pickup attempting to make a left hand turn onto Potter Road. Robert D. Keegan Jr, 59 years old of Viola, ID was traveling southbound on his red 2006 Kawasaki motorcycle, came around the corner and swerved to avoid the collision, but was struck by Tompkins. Keegan was wearing his helmet and was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital. The roadway was not blocked. The motorcycle was towed by Brandt Brother Towing.
