Shortly before 10:40 a.m. on Thursday, April 27, 2017, the Idaho State Police investigated an injury crash eastbound on I184 at exit 3. Catherine Rogers, age 46 of Boise, was traveling east on I-184 in a BMW X3 when she changed lanes. Rogers' vehicle struck a Hyundai Elantra driven by Tina Smith, age 49, of Boise. Smith then lost control of the vehicle, which struck the median barrier, traveled back across the lanes of travel to the right, and struck a Ford pickup driven by Dennis Cady, age 71 of Boise. Smith was transported by ground ambulance to St. Luke's Hospital in downtown Boise. Two lanes of traffic and the offramp were blocked for approximately one hour. The investigation is ongoing.
