On Friday, April 21, 2017, at 5:52 pm, Idaho State Police investigated a two vehicle, non-injury, crash eastbound on US30 at mile marker 213, west of Twin Falls.

Eric C. Hutchins, 61, of Twin Falls, was stopped in the right lane at the rail road tracks in a 2015 school bus with the lights activated. Annie M. Adams, 17, of Buhl, was traveling eastbound on US30 in a 2003 Dodge Caravan, in the right lane behind the school bus. Adams slowed the vehicle, tried to move over, and collided with the back of the bus.

Hutchins and Adams were wearing their seatbelts. Adams' had two children, both in child safety seats, in the Caravan. There were no students on the bus.
The two eastbound lanes of US30 were blocked for approximately one and half hours.
