On October 9, 2016, at approximately 4:00 P.M., Idaho State Police investigated a vehicle versus pedestrian injury crash on E Main St, near Don's Market, in Emmett, ID.

A juvenile was driving west on E Main St in a blue 2008 Subaru Impreza. A juvenile pedestrian was attempting to cross E Main St from the Capital Mobile & RV Park and was struck by the Subaru.

The driver was wearing a seat belt. The pedestrian was transported by air ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.
