*****BEGINNING OF UPDATE*****

On Saturday, July 16, 2016, at approximately 12:20 p.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a single-vehicle, fatal crash eastbound I-84 at milepost 185, three miles east of Eden.

Raymond Miller, 70, of Declo, was eastbound on I-84 in a 2006 GMC Sierra. The GMC went off the right shoulder and rolled. Miller was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash. The cause of death is still unknown at this time. A juvenile passenger in the vehicle was transported to St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center in Twin Falls by air ambulance.

Both occupants were wearing their seatbelts. There was no blockage on I-84. Next of kin has been notified.

The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.

Idaho State Police is currently investigating a one vehicle fatality crash on eastbound Interstate 84 at milepost 185, in Jerome County, near Eden. Part of the frontage road is blocked while the crash is under investigation.

The passenger was transported to St. Lukes Magic Valley Regional Hospital in Twin Falls. More information will be released as it becomes available.
