On July 1, 2016, at approximately 1:35 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a one-vehicle crash on westbound Interstate 184, where the traffic merges onto westbound Interstate 84 from the on ramp from Franklin Rd., by the Boise Towne Square Mall.

A juvenile, from Meridian, ID, was driving a 2000 GMC Yukon in the far right lane of Interstate 184. At the point where the left lanes split and curve eastbound onto the Flyover to go onto Interstate 84 towards Mountain Home, she drove off the left side of her lane, into the grassy area, over-corrected, and rolled the vehicle.

The driver and her minor passenger were wearing seatbelts. The passenger was transported by ground ambulance to St. Luke's Meridian Medical Center.

The crash investigation is continuing.
