Shortly after 11:30 a.m., this morning, July 15, 2016, the Idaho State Police investigated an injury crash southbound on State Highway 50 near milepost 3, at the intersection of N 3800 E in Twin Falls County. Donna Baird, age 88 of Twin Falls was southbound on N 3800 E in a Volkswagen Jetta. Baird stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of Hwy 50. She then continued into the intersection, where her vehicle was struck by a Peterbuilt semi pulling a trailer, driven by Eric Santana, age 24 of Jerome. Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts. Baird was transported to St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center in Twin Falls.
