On Thursday, June 16, 2016, at 10:50 p.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle, injury crash on I-84, just inside the Idaho-Oregon border.

Mariapatricia Juliano-Huntington, 52, of Salem, Oregon, was driving eastbound in a 1996 Mitsubishi Montero. A semi truck attempted to pass in the left lane when the trailer crossed the line and struck the Mitsubishi. The vehicle went toward the right shoulder, Juliano-Huntington overcorrected and the vehicle struck the trailer. The Mitsubishi went sideways and rolled.

The semi truck did not stop and was not located.

Juliano-Huntington and her passenger, Harrison Juliano-Huntington, 18, of Salem, were both wearing seatbelts and were transported via ground ambulance to St. Lukes in Fruitland.

The lanes were partially blocked for two hours while crews worked to clear the scene.
The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
