***Final Update***

On Friday, April 22,2016, at approximately 7:04 p.m. the Idaho State Police investigated a property damage crash involving a commercial vehicle.

Ruben Nunez-Polanco, age 57, of Vale, Oregon was driving a 2006 Peterbilt Semi with an empty trailer; eastbound on Interstate 84 at milepost 148, near Wendell. The semi was a caught by a severe crosswind and rolled. It blocked both lanes and both shoulders of Interstate 84. The driver was wearing a seatbelt and no injuries were reported.

Interstate 84 was completely blocked for approximately 3.5 hours. This crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.

The Idaho State Police is currently investigating a single vehicle crash eastbound I84 at milepost 148, near Wendell. Both eastbound lanes are blocked at this time. Traffic is being diverted at milepost 147. More information will be provided when obtained.
