On March 4, 2016, at 9:42 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle, injury crash on I-15 at milepost 61. Carolyn Teeter, 71, of Burley, was driving a Buick Century northbound in the southbound left lane of I-15. Quincy Asay, 37, of Malad, was southbound in the same lane. Asay was also driving a Buick Century. The vehicles struck, with Teeter's vehicle coming to rest in the median and Asay's off the right shoulder of the southbound lanes.

Quincy Asay had three passengers - Lillian Asay, 38, also of Malad, and two juveniles. All five of the occupants were wearing seatbelts and were transported by ground ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center. The left lane was blocked for approximately thirty-five minutes for emergency personnel. This crash is still under investigation by the Idaho State Police.

The Idaho State Police is investigating a crash, southbound on I-15 at milepost 61, 2 miles north of the Inkom Port of Entry. The left lane of southbound travel is blocked at this time. More will be released when it is available.
