On Thursday, January 7, 2016, at 8:48 a.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a three-vehicle injury crash on the westbound exit 46 offramp of Interstate 84 near Eagle Road.

A 2001 Nissan Altima, driven by Matthew Devinaspre, 27, of Boise, and a 2014 Ford Escape, driven by Jessica Noel, 22, of Meridian, were slowing to stop for a red light on the offramp at Eagle Road. Both cars were in the right lane and traffic was backed up at the light. The light turned green as Erin Willey, 28 of Boise, driving a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee was traveling down the offramp from Interstate 84. Willey failed to stop for traffic on the offramp. The Jeep struck the rear of the Ford Escape. The Ford Escape struck the rear of the Nissan Altima.

Devinaspre was the only one not wearing a seatbelt and was transported by ground ambulance to St. Luke's in Meridian. No road blockage was reported.

This crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
