Two Vehicle Injury crash near Harriman State Park

On Saturday, August 29, 2015, at approximately 7:45 p.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle, injury crash on US Highway 20 at milepost 369, near Harriman State Park.

Brandon Morris, 34, of Gallatin Gateway, Montana, was driving eastbound on US 20 in a 2003 Subaru Forester. James Papworth, 62, of Rexburg, was driving westbound in a 2013 Chevrolet pickup towing a utility trailer. The Subaru crossed the center line and struck the pickup on the driver's side rear quarter panel and the utility trailer. All vehicles came to rest in a pullout on the side of the roadway.

Morris was not wearing a seatbelt and was extricated from his vehicle. He was transported via ground ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls. Papworth and his passengers were wearing seatbelts and were not transported. There was no lane blockage.

The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
