Two-vehicle, fatality crash on Robinson Road at Locust Lane near Nampa

On Wednesday, August 19, 2015, at approximately 6:10 a.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle, fatality crash at the intersection of Robinson Road and Locust Lane, east of Nampa.

Sharalyn Rose, 28, of Meridian, was eastbound on Locust Lane in a 2001 Chevrolet Lumina. Paul Mackrill, 44, of Nampa, was southbound on Robinson Road in a 2009 Yamaha WR450F motorcycle. Rose was stopped at stop sign on Locust Lane. When she pulled out into the intersection, the Yamaha motorcycle struck the Lumina on the driver's side.

Mackrill succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the crash. Rose was transported to St. Alphonsus in Nampa by ground ambulance. Rose was wearing a seatbelt; Mackrill was wearing a motorcycle helmet. Notification has been made to Mackrill's next of kin.

The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
