On Wednesday, August 05, 2015, at approximately 12:49 p.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a three vehicle crash eastbound I-84 near the Locust Grove overpass, in Meridian.

Maria L. Anderson, 34 of Payette, ID, was driving a 2009 Toyota Matrix eastbound on I-84 near the Locust Grove overpass. Anderson made an unsafe lane change side swiped a 2009 Kenworth semi pulling a single trailer, driven by Michael H. Thomas, 51 of Boise, who was also traveling eastbound. Anderson then drove back into the lane and was struck on the driver side door by Catherine I. Ledesma, 51 of Whittier, CA, driving a 2015 Chevrolet Impala.

All drivers where wearing their seatbelts. The left lane, currently the bi-pass lane in the construction zone, was blocked for approximately one hour and fifteen minutes.

The Idaho State Police is currently investigating a crash on Interstate 84 at milepost 45, on the eastbound side, near the Locust Grover overpass. Motorists can expect delays.
