Fatal Crash in Nampa

On Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at approximately 10:00 P.M, Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle fatal crash at the intersection of Kuna Road and Southside Boulevard, in Nampa.

Sharolyn Davis, 44, of Nampa, ID, was driving westbound on Kuna Rd. in a 2001 Dodge pickup. Lauri McDevitt, 49, also of Nampa, was driving southbound on Southside Blvd, in a 2005 Kia Rio. Davis failed to yield at the stop sign on Kuna Rd. and struck the Kia Rio. McDevitt was transported by ground ambulance to St. Alphonsus, Nampa, where she succumbed to her injuries.

Notifications to family members have been made. Davis was wearing a seatbelt, but it is unknown if McDevitt was wearing one.

The intersection was blocked for approximately three hours. This crash remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
