Crash on I-84 East of Boise Sends Three to the Hospital.

On Monday, August 3, 2015, at approximately 8:52 p.m. the Idaho State Police investigated an injury crash on I-84 at milepost 68 east of Boise. Carolyn Crabtree, 44, of Durham, NC, was traveling eastbound in a Jeep Liberty. Crabtree drifted into the right lane which was occupied by another vehicle, overcorrected, and rolled into the median.

Crabtree was taken by air ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. Crabtree's passengers, a 10-year-old juvenile and a 5-year-old juvenile, were transported by ground ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. Crabtree and the 10-year-old juvenile were not wearing seatbelts. The 5-year-old juvenile was restrained in the backseat in a booster seat.

This crash remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
