The rescue operation is complete and all lanes of travel have reopened.

Multiple Magic Valley area emergency crews are currently working to rescue a BASE jumper whose parachute is caught in the Perrine Bridge. Northbound traffic of US Highway 93 across the Perrine Bridge is blocked and is being diverted to one of the southbound lanes.

Traffic is congested in the area. Idaho State Police is cautioning motorists to avoid this area if at all possible.
