On Monday, November 24, 2014, at 7:05 p.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a two vehicle injury crash on US 30 at milepost 369.5, west of Lava Hot Springs.

Amanda Corcorran, 21 of Downey, was turning east onto US 30 from the Ranch Inn Motel, in a 1999 Buick Regal. Corcorran made a wide turn going into oncoming traffic. Russell Lindley, 42 of Pleasant Hill, Iowa, was west bound on US 30, driving a 2006 Volvo Tractor Trailer. Lindley attempted to avoid a collision with Corcorran by going into the east bound lanes. Lindley struck Corcorran as her car was coming back into the east bound lanes. Lindley came to a stop in the Ranch Inn and Motel. Lindley and his passenger Tisha Lindley, 39 of Pleasant Hill, Iowa, were wearing their seat belts. Corcorran's vehicle stopped in the east bound lanes, facing west. Corcorran and her passengers: Patrick Darnell, 52 of Federal Way, Washington and Mary Darnell, 47 of Burien, Washington, were transported to Portneuf Medical Center by ground ambulance. None of them were wearing their seat belts.

Eastbound lanes were blocked for approximately an hour.

This crash is currently under investigation by the Idaho State Police.

The Idaho State Police and Bannock County Sheriff are currently investigating a two vehicle injury crash on US Hwy 30 at milepost 369.5, west of Lava Hot Springs. The Highway is partially blocked but traffic is being directed around the scene. Further information will be provided as it becomes available.
