Idaho State Police is investigating multiple crashes that occurred in the area of the dust storm between Roberts and Idaho Falls. Due to low visibility and safety precautions, all vehicles involved are being left in the area until it safe to retrieve them. The Idaho Department of Transportation has officially closed both northbound and southbound lanes of Interstate 15 between milepost 119 and 135. Further information will be released when it becomes available.

On Saturday, November 29, 2014, at 12:07 p.m. the Idaho State Police, Jefferson County Sheriff's Office and Bonneville County Sheriff's Office responded to a dust storm on Interstate 15 from Idaho Falls to Roberts. Currently both northbound and southbound lanes are blocked. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area. Further information will be released when it becomes available.
