*UPDATE* US95 blocked north of Athol

****UPDATE **** The road has been open at of 5:30pm *****

Motorists are encouraged to find alternate routes of travel and avoid US95 between Athol and Sandpoint. Southbound US95 traffic is being diverted in Sandpoint and Northbound US95 traffic is being diverted in Athol due to power pole repairs on US95 at Williams Lane, just north of Athol. A dump truck hit the power pole at this location causing lines to hang down over the roadway. Northern Lights Power is on scene replacing the pole at this time however it will be few hours before the roadway is clear for travel. Thank you for your consideration.
