On Friday, June 27, 2014, at approximately 7:40 a.m., Idaho State Police investigated a two vehicle injury crash on Interstate 15 near milepost 63.

April Stoor, 25, of Pocatello, driving a 2001 Mitsubishi Montero, was attempting to merge with northbound traffic from the 63 onramp. Stoor drove off the right shoulder, overcorrected, and struck a 2003 Freightliner semi in the left lane driven by Craig Nielsen, 59, of Hyrum, Utah. Stoor's vehicle went into the median where it rolled.

Stoor and Nielson were transported via ground ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello. It is not known at this time if drivers were wearing seatbelts.

One lane is still blocked as crews work to clear the scene. The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
