On April 26, 2014, at approximately 5:07 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle crash on westbound I84 near milepost 46, just east of Eagle Road in Ada County.

Raelee L. Asson, 21 of Meridian, driving a 2000 Chrysler Sebring westbound on I84 in lane two began making a lane change into lane one, which was occupied by another vehicle. Asson overcorrected crossing lane two and into lane three, which was occupied by Allen L. Centers, 62 of Meridian, driving a 2011 Toyota Four Runner, the vehicles collided. Asson's vehicle hit the median barrier and stopped. Centers' vehicle rolled and came to rest on its top on the right shoulder.

Allen Centers and his passenger Dianne Centers, 63 of Meridian, were transported by ground ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. Asson was not transported. All subjects where wearing their seatbelts.

All lanes were blocked for a short amount of time. However the right lane was blocked for approximately one hour and twenty minutes.
