INCIDENT NARRATIVE: Information obtained by a member of the North Idaho Violent Crimes Task Force initiated a joint investigation involving the Idaho State Police Alcohol Beverage Control, the North Idaho Violent Crimes Task Force, and the Idaho State Police Investigations District 1 office. The investigation identified a large party advertised as a "Mansion Bash" planned at a residence rented for the event above Hayden Lake. The promoters of the event anticipated attendance of approximately 300 people. The investigation resulted in a search warrant served at the residence on E. Lookout Drive, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho at approximately 9:30 PM on April 4, 2014.

Upon serving the search warrant officers encountered approximately 240 people in and around the house, with more arriving. Approximately 19 people were arrested for violations including Dispensing Liquor Without a License, delivery of a controlled substance, possession of controlled substance, and other miscellaneous offenses. Approximately 15 individuals were cited and released for Minor In Possession of Alcohol. Numerous bottles of liquor and alcoholic beverages were seized along with controlled substances that included methamphetamine, marijuana and various derivatives of marijuana, mushrooms, cocaine, and paraphernalia.

Members of the Idaho State Police Investigations and Patrol, the Kootenai County Sheriff's Department, the North Idaho Violent Crimes Task Force, the Coeur d'Alene Police Department, and the U.S. Forest Service assisted in the search warrant service.
