On Sunday, November 10th, 2013, at approximately 12:24 pm, Idaho State Police conducted a traffic stop on a 2014 Chevy Silverado pickup, on Interstate 86 near milepost 28, near American Falls in Power County, Idaho. The vehicle was traveling east and was stopped for a traffic violation. The driver was identified as 22 year old male Mario Rodriguez, from Pocatello, Idaho. Pursuant to the traffic stop, 13.89 pounds of suspected marijuana was found and seized. Also 736.00 dollars was found and seized. Rodriguez was incarcerated in the Power County Jail where he is being charged with trafficking a controlled substance and felony possession of marijuana.
