INCIDENT NARRATIVE: Eckart was travelling south bound on US95 near mile marker 308 when Trooper Hight attempted to make a traffic stop on Eckart who was failing to maintain lane. Eckart failed to yield to Trooper Hights vehicle and continued driving erratically. Eckarts vehicle left the road way and hit the guard rail near mile marker 306.3. He was transported to Tri State Memorial Hospital. It was determined that the erratic driving and crash were due to medical issues.
