As of 11:45 p.m. crews were able to reopen traffic in both directions along Interstate 84 from milepost 173 to milepost 182. The right lane of eastbound traffic remains blocked between mileposts 174 and 175 while emergency crews remain on scene.

Idaho State Police is currently assisting the Bureau of Land Management and Jerome County with a fire near I84 at milepost 175, just east of the US93 Interchange. All lanes are blocked at this time. Eastbound traffic is being diverted onto US93 at milepost 173. Westbound traffic will be diverted off at Exit 182, Eden and Hazelton. Motorists are encouraged to avoid travel in the area. More information will be released as it becomes available.
