INCIDENT NARRATIVE: Williams was eastbound I90@61 when a car driven by Scott entered the freeway from the onramp and failed to yield to Williams. Williams swerved to avoid a collision causing his trailer to fishtail. Williams vehicle crossed the road and collided with the center median barriers, went back across the road and struck the guardrail on the south shoulder. The trailer vaulted over the guardrail tearing the 5th wheel assembly off the tractor. The trailer then fell 80 feet into the south fork of the Coeur d'Alene river. The two vehicles never collided. The driver of the car was cited and a recovery operation is underway for the trailer.
