On December 30, 2010, at 1:45 pm, Idaho State Police investigated a three vehicle crash on the southbound lanes of I15 at approximately milepost 174.8, north of Dubois, Idaho, involving a Clark County Deputy.

Deputy Bradley Eddins was sitting in his parked 2008 Dodge patrol truck with traffic cones out and lights on, providing traffic control for a semi that had slid off into the snow and was waiting for a tow truck. Colin Cunningham, 36, of Star, Idaho, was travelling southbound on I15 when he lost control of his 2007 Toyota Corolla and hit the rear of Eddins patrol vehicle. Michael Mclain, 39, of Payson, Utah, also travelling southbound in a 1997 Toyota Camry hit Cunningham's vehicle. Cunningham and his passenger, Jennifer Harrison, 39 years of age, of Boise, Idaho, were transported via ground ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, where they are listed in stable condition. Deputy Eddins and Mclain were both uninjured. Weather is a factor in the crash.

The crash is still under investigation by Cpl. Scoggins of Idaho State Police, with assistance at the scene by Cpl. Bivins, Clark County Sheriff's office, and emergency personnel.
