On Sunday, July 18, 2010, at approximately 12:20 a.m. the Idaho State Police and Power County Sheriff's Office investigated a one vehicle rollover eastbound I86 near milepost 49 near American Falls, Idaho.

Isidro Juarez-Gonzalez, 34, of Rupert, Idaho was traveling east on I86 near the 49 off ramp, in a 1996 Mazda MPV when for unknown reasons he drove into the median. Juarez then overcorrected causing the vehicle to slide back across the interstate and strike the 49 off ramp. Upon impact the vehicle overturned coming to rest on its top.

Juarez was ejected from the vehicle. He sustained serious injuries and was transported by ground to Portneuf Medical Center. Juarez was later transported by air to University of Utah, where he is in critical condition. It is unknown whether Juarez was wearing a seatbelt and alcohol may be a factor in this crash.

Corporal Rausch was assisted at the scene by Trooper Bake, the Power County Sheriff's Office and Power County emergency units. The crash is still under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
