On Friday, December 11, 2009 at 5:11 p.m. , the Idaho State Police investigated a three-vehicle fatality crash at milepost 172 on interstate 84, near Twin Falls. Shelby Seewald, 17, of Boise was traveling westbound on Interstate 84. For unknown reasons her vehicle, a 1997 Oldsmobile Cutlass, sideswiped a 2005 Ford F-350 pickup, driven by Scott Brown, 45, of Wendell. The F-350 then crossed the median, traveling into the eastbound lanes striking a 1999 Ford Explorer, driven by Dixilyn Noh, 52, of Boise. Dixilyn and her passenger, Kristen Noh, 45, also of Boise both succumbed to their injuries at the scene. Seewald and her two passengers were transported to Saint Luke's Magic Valley Regional Medical Center in Twin Falls with non-life threatening injuries. Brown was initially taken to Saint Luke's Magic Valley Regional Medical Center by ground ambulance, and later transferred to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, in Boise. His condition is unknown at this time. Idaho State Police was assisted at the scene by Jerome County Sheriff, Jerome Medics, Magic Valley Paramedics, and Idaho Transportation Department. The crash is under investigation by Trooper Otto.
